The way to stop this happening is by regularly servicing your booster sets, checking the pumps, vessel and more importantly the controller to make sure it is acting as it should be.

If a vessel were to fail or not correctly inflate, then this can cause a significant decrease to the lifespan of the pump due to being over run and would not ramp up and down correctly.
